Housing and
Development
Board (HDB)
is a common
feature of Singapore
real estate
listings in
Singapore with
more than 80%
of Singaporeans
living in public
housing. HDB
apartments (more
commonly referred
to as “flats”)
are located
in self-contained
residential
projects with
polyclinics,
schools, supermarkets,
food and shopping
|
outlets, bus interchanges
and train stations as
well as sports and recreational
facilities. Purchases
of HDB flats are restricted
to Singaporeans and
Permanent Residents.
