Web UI Designers

We are looking for Web UI Designers to create a cutting edge web design and corporate branding. You will be responsible for the look-and-feel, information flow, interaction and visual design of our site. You will be responsible for the entire design process from brainstorms to paper wireframes to Photoshop designs, and ideally to HTML/CSS production. This includes improvement to our site as well as the creation of advertisements and embedded widgets for outreach marketing. You will work closely with product management, services and engineering teams. You will also be responsible for keeping up with the latest trends in web design and making recommendations for how to integrate them into our site.

The successful candidate for this position is an individual who is extremely detail, task oriented, can create and apply cutting edge design look, color scheme, branding, task flow, interaction and navigation. The individual must be able to work well in a team of talented people, has good communication skills and must understand the intricacies of building complex, professional websites. Candidate must have strong sense of style, be fluent with directory structures and Internet tools, and must be excellent in image production skills. We are looking for someone who is as efficient as creative.

Prerequisite Experience:

  • At least 3 years of solid industry experience designing GUIs for websites and web applications.
  • Advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, or other related discipline.
  • Must possess a solid working experience with appropriate design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and GoLive or Dreamweaver proficient, Visio, Wireframe, some 3D applications experience, fluent in HTML, CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript / AJAX. Web2.0/Social Networking site experience a major plus.
  • Should have experience with international and localization design considerations.
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross-functional teams a must.
